Freediving - Truk Lagoon - 29.01. - 08.02.2025
Truk Lagoon, also known as Chuuk Lagoon (official since 1900), is is one, if not the best wreck diving place in the world!
Be part of the first full Freediving Liveaboard expedition in Truk Lagoon and explore the World War II history beneath the waves with a single breath.
With over 60+ World War II wrecks we will gurantee explore some of the most amazing and thrilling wrecks there within depths from 10-45m.
The wreck diving paradise Chuuk Lagoon is located in the middle of the Pacific. As a part of Chuuk State and, one of the four Federated States of Micronesia, it lies 1100 miles northeast of New Guinea and 617 miles southeast of Guam. Chuuk includes 7 major island groups surrounded by a protective reef, creating a natural harbor surounded by tropical vegetation and coconut trees
What you can expect - Wrecks!
This is by for one of the best wreck diving places in the world. There are so many wrecks to explore from small to big, from shallow to deep. You will find tanks, bicycles, trucks, torpedos, airplanes and often surrounded by beautiful marine life.
To name a few,
Trevallys, different reef sharks (Gray, Whitetip, Blacktip), Huge schools of big game fish, Napoleon Wrasse, bumphead parrotfish, nudibranch’s, soft corals that have had 60+ years to develop, and even the occasional Manta Rays - You will love it!
Dolphin groups are very common within the atoll.
Boat / Accommodation
Your comfort is our priority everywhere on board, for this reason we have chosen the Pacific Master for our trip. It is a very safe vessel made of heavy, strong steel construction and extensive soundproofing. The hull shape of the vessel, the passive stability system and the bulbous bow make for a remarkably relaxed ride to our dive sites inside Truk Lagoon.
Food
When it comes to food, we guarantee you a wide variety and high quality selection of products. Fresh cuisine is one of the cornerstones on the liveaboards. Soups are homemade; bread, pastries and desserts are baked on board and there is always plenty to eat with up to 4 meals a day and plenty of snacks.
We offer a mix of buffet and table service with a menu that combines good taste, healthy aspects and accommodating our free-diving diets. Our chef and hostesses will take excellent care of you! All food and drinks are included, except alcoholic beverages. Almost all special meal requests can be accommodated with advance notice.
