The C4 Meltemi Snorkel is a standard-length freediving and spearfishing snorkel designed for easy ventilation, comfort and practical everyday use in the sea or pool.

Made from buoyant thermoplastic material, the Meltemi floats to the surface if released. Its shape is designed to support smooth airflow, reduce water residue during breathing and sit close to the head with less vibration in the water.

Available at Kaluna Freediving in Black and Carbon Look. The Carbon Look version has a technical carbon-pattern finish; the snorkel itself is not made from carbon fibre.

Comfortable, floating and easy to recover

The Meltemi is built from floating materials, which is a practical advantage for freediving and pool training. If the snorkel is dropped at the surface, it can be recovered more easily by you or your training partner.

The softer part of the tube improves comfort when the snorkel is positioned under the mask strap. This matters during longer sessions because a stiff snorkel can pull on the mask, break the seal or create unnecessary pressure around the face.

Designed for smooth breathing

C4 designed the shape between the mouthpiece and tube to make air passage as efficient as possible and to reduce water residue that can build up during breathing. The internal section has a 20 mm diameter, giving the Meltemi a clean and practical breathing feel without making the tube unnecessarily bulky.

The final section of the tube is flattened so it can sit closer to the shape of the head. This helps reduce vibration and keeps the snorkel more stable during surface swimming and diving preparation.

Black or Carbon Look?

Choose Black if you want the most minimal and classic setup. It pairs cleanly with almost every freediving mask and wetsuit.

Choose Carbon Look if you want the more technical C4 visual style, especially when pairing the snorkel with a C4 Carbon mask or carbon-look equipment. The Carbon Look version is a colour finish, not a carbon-fibre construction.

For a high-performance all-round setup, pair the Meltemi with the C4 Carbon Condor Antifog Mask. The Condor is the stronger match if you want a very wide field of vision, low internal volume and a soft, adaptable skirt for freediving, spearfishing, snorkeling or scuba.
